Justin, Product Director

Justin lives in Perth, Australia with his wife and 3 sons.  Justin is the Director of Product Development for curbi and Shedworx.

The idea for curbi started in 2010 when Justin's then 14 year-old son came home from school with a shiny new iPad.  After trying a few ways to manage screen time then realising that there absolutely wasn't 'an app for that', curbi was born.  Roughly four years later curbi hit the world as the number one parental control service for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Justin's three sons continue their valuable role as the reluctant curbi crash test dummies, on the receiving end of all the 'great new ideas' coming out of the curbi labs.

Bradley, Brand Ambassador

In addition to his work here at curbi, he also writes at The Sweet Setup, Tools and Toys, Chambers Daily, and is the co-host of the popular Out of School podcast.

Bradley joined the curbi team after searching for a product to solve an issue he was constantly being asked about by his school families: "How do we block adult content on our kids devices?" Until curbi, he had no answer. Once he saw it, he immediately started sharing the great things curbi can do with his friends and family.

Nicky, Support Manager

Nicky returned to Perth, Western Australia after living 18 years in the UK.  Nicky has run technical  support teams on the frantic trading floors of Investment Banks in London.

Nicky joined the curbi team as Support Manager when the need arose to increase the level of support for curbi customers.

Nicky has two daughters, who both run curbi on their devices.  The girls are great representatives of the kids on technology today.

Neil, brand manager

Neil resides in Perth, Australia with his wife and three daughters.

Having worked in software development for over 20 years, Neil couldn't believe the best solution to stop his three teenage daughters from using social media on their phones all nightwas to confiscate their phones before they went to bed. There had to be a better solution to stop the fights and family stress.  Along with the help of the other parents from the curbi team, curbi was designed and created as a solution to the nightly stress.  Neil's teenage daughters became reluctant curbi beta testers and from an initial reaction of "curbi does what? No you can't do that. Kids are going to hate you!", the girls now create their own rules where they voluntarily turn off social media at specific times to help them study and sleep.

Maybe some kids will hate curbi, but some kids will embrace it and their parents are going to love it!
